Discretion is core to Hush. This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

What we collect

• Account info: email and (optionally) phone number.
• Profile info: display name, age, bio, photos, preferences.
• Usage data: swipes, matches, message metadata, sign-in events.
• Verification: optional selfie or ID review images, retained only as long as needed.

How we use it

To run the Service: matching, messaging, payments, safety, and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal data.

Your controls

• Export. Download a copy of your data from Settings.
• Delete. Schedule account deletion with a 14-day grace period.
• Stealth. Hide your profile from non-likers.
• Blur. Auto-blur photos until you reveal them.
• Panic. Sign out everywhere and surface a neutral decoy page.

Security

Photos are stored in private buckets and served via short-lived signed URLs. Sensitive routes are rate-limited. Direct messages are scoped per conversation by row-level security.
